Leslie O’Connor

After a successful business career in direct sales, Leslie started her Recruiting Career in 1998 in Canada, as an Account Executive with Robert Half International (RHIC). She held management positions with Robert Half and Darwin Partners, before leaving the corporate agencies to open Search Wizards in mid-2000. In 2007, Leslie was named #25 on the Entrepreneur Magazine’s listing of the Top Women Entrepreneurs in North America. In 2007 she launched the inaugural event for SourceCon, a national conference dedicated to promoting the Sourcing and Internet Research. The event was held in Atlanta, GA in September 2007 and October 2008, before being acquired by ERE.

Miranda Hinshaw

Miranda joined Search Wizards in June 2006 as a Sourcer. She had a background in Sourcing with an Executive Search Firm based in Augusta, GA. Miranda was promoted to Talent Specialist later that year, and currently holds the Talent Director position in the firm. Miranda works closely with our candidates in determining how their background, strengths, experience and career path best match our current open positions and the needs of our clients.

Miranda is a native of Texas and has had the opportunity to live in many different places including California, Hawaii, and she currently resides in Clifton, VA with her husband and two children (Brooke and Brian). In her spare time she enjoys reading, music, keeping active, and a little rest and relaxation.

Nancy Noble

Nancy joined Search Wizards in April 2010 as a Resource Manager. Her responsibilities include employee benefits, background investigations, website upgrades as well as many other special projects. Nancy is a graduate of the University of Toronto and brings 20+ years of experience, including: Central Services, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and Project Management. She has previously worked with Air Canada, The Beer Store, St. Josephs' Healthcare Foundation and is the Past-Director of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation-Ontario Region. Due to her husband's transfer, she and her family relocated to Georgia in 2009.

Nancy lives in LaGrange, Georgia with her husband Stephen, their rescued dog, and has two sons (Connor and Mathew) that are away at college. In her spare time she enjoys entertaining, reading, traveling, golfing, and volunteering. Nancy is a past Executive Director and Co-Founder of Braz for the Cause, a nonprofit endeavor. She is involved in her local community on many levels, including Habitat for Humanity.

Talise Gary

Talise joined Search Wizards in March 2008 as an Operations Recruiting Coordinator, working on our Metrics Reports and Data Analysis. She brings 12 years of Human Resources experience and previously held similar roles with Gary & Associates, Accenture and the Air Force. Talise is currently in the role of Talent Development where her responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates.

Talise is a native of Charleston, SC. She has had the opportunity to live in many different places including California, New Mexico, Georgia and she currently resides in San Antonio, TX with her husband and two children (Thomas and Trinity). In her spare time Talise enjoys reading, painting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sherry Lorance

Sherry has been in the Staffing and Recruiting industry since 2003, working for companies such as Swedish Covenant Hospital and Amazon.com. Sherry started with Search Wizards in 2007, and has worked in a variety of roles including Senior Recruiting Coordinator, Talent Specialist, and now Talent Concierge. Sherry's experience not only in the Recruiting industry, but specifically within Search Wizards allows her to be a valuable resource to our consultants- their one "go to" person with any questions, concerns, or challenges they may have. Sherry closes the "virtual gap" by offering a personal touch and proactively contacting all of our consultants to remind them she is a resource.

Sherry currently resides in Tennessee with her husband who is a Sergeant in the US Army, and their two rescue dogs. In her spare time she enjoys traveling to see friends and family, cooking and baking, and spending time with her husband.

Beth Halvorson

Beth brings over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Professional Recruiting, where her responsibilities included full-cycle recruiting in the fields of Healthcare, Accounting/Finance, Engineering, HR Services, Information Systems and Executive Management. Prior to joining Search Wizards in October 2011, Beth held a Virtual Senior Recruiter role for two years, working in the Aerospace Industry. Prior to this, Beth worked for New River Medical Center and Prudential Financial in Human Resources roles. Beth is currently in the role of Talent Development where she is responsible for sourcing and screening candidates.

Beth lives just north of Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband and three boys (Zach, Teddy and Thomas). Beth enjoys camping, reading, watching her boys play sports and spending time with her family.

Lesly Barrie

Lesly Barrie is a student at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and is relatively new to the world of Recruiting. What Lesly lacks in experience, she makes up for in drive! Lesly originally joined Search Wizards as a summer student, and recently moved from the position of Talent Coordinator to become part of the Talent Development Team. Lesly is responsible for supporting our Vendor Management team in capturing and reporting metrics for our clients, data management and sourcing.

On a more personal note Lesly is very involved in her local community. As a member of UNICEF Canada, The Canadian Kidney Foundation, The Ottawa Food Bank and an Alumnae of Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority, she is set on making a difference. Lesly currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario Canada with two cute dogs Ravioli and Quest. In her spare time Lesly enjoys traveling, reading, shopping and spending time with her dogs!

Mary Drislane

Mary joined Search Wizards in November 2011 as Talent Coordinator where her many duties include reference checks. In addition, to working in "Corporate America" for many years, Mary's more recent professional experience includes Property Manager for a nine building condominium complex in Chicago, as well as a Personal Lines Insurance Agent for a local insurance agency.

Mary was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and is a first generation American with one sister, two married daughters ( Erin and Lindsey) in addition to 5 step children. Her favorite hobbies include travelling, karaoke,photography, music and dancing. Mary lives in Niles, Illinois with her husband Gerry and Foxhound Maggie.
